NOTICE TO THE BAR REGARDING COURT OPERATIONS IN THE EVENT OF A LAPSE IN APPROPRIATIONS
If there is a lapse in federal appropriations on or after April 8, 2011 and the government is required to shut down, the Eastern District of California will continue its normal operations. The district and bankruptcy courts and respective Clerk’s Offices, Probation Office and Pretrial Services Office will be open and conducting business as usual. Any changes in our operations will be posted to the court’s website.
