4. If a case is on file in Sacramento, may pleadings be filed in Fresno and vice versa?

No, pursuant to Local Rule 5-134 (a), All documents delivered to the Clerk for filing or lodging in a pending action must be presented to the Clerk at the office where the action is pending. Documents proffered for filing in a pending action at an incorrect office will not be accepted.
