parking and public transportation

In Fresno, you can park on the first floor of the parking structure at O Street and Inyo Streets. Bring your time stamped parking stub with you to the jury room for validation. When you leave the garage, this validated receipt ticket will open the gate for you when placed in the machine at the garage exits.

Most buses and Amtrak stop within two to five blocks of the courthouse.
Amtrak: 1-800-872-7245

In Sacramento, Due to a major parking system upgrade, validated parking is currently limited.  You should be prepared to pay for your parking on the day(s) you report for jury service.

Reimbursement of your parking expenses will be included on your reimbursement check (receipt required).  Do not park on the street or at a parking meter.  You will not have time to leave the court to pay the meter and the court is not responsible for parking violations.  You may park in any of the surrounding parking lots.  The Amtrak station, located at 5th & I Street, has very limited parking and you must pay in advance.  Please be sure not to park in the 2 hr. limited area, again the court is not responsible for parking violations.  If you prefer covered parking, you can park at the Old Sacramento Garage located at 2nd & I Street.  You will only be reimbursed for one parking receipt per day.  There are no in and out privileges and you will be responsible for any additional parking if you choose to leave the lot during the course of the day.  You must submit your parking receipt within one week of your initial day of service. Please be sure to clearly print your name on the back of the parking receipt.
