CERTIFICATES OF GOOD STANDING

 

To request a Certificate of Good Standing, please submit a request in writing (there is not a form) including the attorney’s name and CA bar number along with payment (please see Fee Schedule for amount) and a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope for certificate return

 

Requests and payment can be made through the mail with a check (made payable to: Clerk, U.S. District Court) or in person at either the Sacramento or Fresno Clerk's Office with check, cash (exact amount) or credit card. Unfortunately, it cannot be submitted or paid electronically or by phone.

The Courthouses remain closed to the public, however we are accepting and processing filings and documents. 

Submit your Request for Certificate of Good Standing by regular or overnight mail or you may use our drop box on the first floor in front of security, available from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

We are not accepting credit card or cash payments at this time. Payments can not be submitted electronically or by phone.
