You may instead call or visit the Sacramento or Fresno courthouses.
Accepted payment methods:
- Credit card payment for miscellaneous fees. Credit cards are not accepted for bail or restitution payments.
- Credit card payment for registered CM/ECF users who are paying fees through CM/ECF.
- Cashier’s Check
- Money Order
- Personal Check. Please note that there is a $53 fee if checks are returned for payment or denied for insufficient funds.
When you provide a check as payment, you authorize the Clerk’s Office to either use the information from your check to make a one-time electronic funds transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction.
As of January 1, 2022, the Clerk’s Office no longer accepts cash for payments of any kind.
